Design Characteristics

The picture at the left is the design of the brochure of persuading people to Egypt. The blank part is where the text is going to be. Because Egypt looks very sandy and hot, so I decide to choose any colors that relate to it. Also, I choose fonts other than Time News Roman to make the brohure looks more attractive. Lastly, I add pictures to demonstrate what the text is about. The audience for this brochure is adults from 20 or older, so I left more space for the text because they would like to know more about Egypt.

Edit bitmap images

The picture at the left, the rabbit has red eyes and it looks really weird, so I remove the red eyes so it looks normal.

I crop the picture because I want more focus on the frog instead of include the important parts, also, I resize it to 400 pixels.

The picture at the left is so flashy, so I darken it so it looks more pretty.

The picure at the left is not really lively, therefore, I made it lighter so it looks lively and clear.

Lastly is the picture of the horse. I crop the horse beause I want the horse to be the focal point of the picture

Digital Citizenship poster

AIS clubs for teachers

This is the slide that I've made changes. As you can see the AIS clubs blog post, it had short informations and a lighter background because the students aren't mature and they like colors, however, the teachers aren't the same. Teachers are mature and they want more informations, so I changed the background to a deeper color and typed in more informations.

Presentation 1: Multimedia Science Project

The slide that is on the left hand side covers all the lesson, which is about consistency, audience and purpose. In that slide, I explained why I chose this font, background,...

These two picture at the left are the ones that I combined (shown at the top-right hand.

The left hand side the the original picture and the right hand side is the edited picture.

Lastly is the video. This video is about Lead; it is 8 minutes long and I downloaded, then converted it into wmv using a website called zamzar. As you know, this video is too long so I edited it to make it suitable for the middle school students. At the beginning, I cut the introduction because it is boring, instead, I added pictures and music. After that, I skipped the part that is deeply about Lead because the student might find it hard to understand. Also, I added the picture of Lead apron right after the professor introduced the uses of Lead. In addition, I cut the rest of the video because it is a long boring information about Lead acetate and the only point is it is poisonous, therefore, I added the picture of Lead acetate and typed in few words. Lastly, I added credits and music at the end of the video.
